Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Orono War Petchpun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hubert Szydlo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
War Petchpun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Szydlo avoids it really well and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - War Petchpun looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Szydlo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with War Petchpun, pushing him back against the cage.
Szydlo tries to pull guard but War Petchpun forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
War Petchpun is trying to force a seperation but Szydlo has the dominant position.
Szydlo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
War Petchpun is looking to take this one to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
War Petchpun successfully pulls guard.
Szydlo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
War Petchpun avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
War Petchpun has an active guard here but Szydlo has managed to pass into half guard.

Szydlo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Szydlo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Szydlo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from War Petchpun.
Szydlo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Donk. War Petchpun catches Szydlo right on the button with a cross.
Szydlo moves into the clinch.
War Petchpun tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Szydlo smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orono War Petchpun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Szydlo misses with a low kick.
Szydlo blocks a head kick by War Petchpun.
War Petchpun shoots in but no luck this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Szydlo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Szydlo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
War Petchpun is pushing Szydlo's head away, looking to escape. Szydlo manages to hold on to the position though.
Szydlo cracks War Petchpun with a big elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Szydlo is working War Petchpun over with some ground and pound from side control.
Szydlo decides to stand up, so the ref orders War Petchpun to his feet.
War Petchpun throws a nice looking combination but Szydlo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Szydlo tries to counter with a clinch but War Petchpun shakes him off and moves away.
Szydlo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. War Petchpun was covering up waiting for the punch and Szydlo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Szydlo gets to his feet - War Petchpun follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
War Petchpun tries to clinch up
and Szydlo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
War Petchpun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Szydlo on the ground.
Szydlo stands up over War Petchpun, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Szydlo is pushing down on War Petchpun's leg trying to pass to half guard. War Petchpun is fighting to maintain full guard but Szydlo has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Szydlo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
War Petchpun tries to kick Szydlo off in order to stand up. Szydlo Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
War Petchpun is letting Szydlo control him for a moment.
Szydlo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at War Petchpun to see if he's OK.

Szydlo controls the position from side control.
Szydlo advances to mount.
Szydlo controlling from the full mount.
War Petchpun is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Szydlo has taken his back!
Szydlo is working for a rear naked choke. War Petchpun is not defending it well and Szydlo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! War Petchpun refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of War Petchpun's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hubert Szydlo!
