Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hoppus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoppus comes to the cage accompanied by Dammit. Mark Hoppus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Hoppus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kent Wilkinson! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crunch! Hoppus slams his shin into Wilkinson's torso. Wilkinson looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hoppus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hoppus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilkinson as he avoids it easily. Hoppus doesn't manage to clinch there - Wilkinson circles away.
Wilkinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hoppus looks for a takedown but Wilkinson sprawls well. Hoppus fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hoppus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hoppus tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkinson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A slow jab from Hoppus misses its intended target. The fight stays on the outside here - Hoppus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilkinson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoppus sneaks out the side door and pushes Wilkinson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Hoppus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilkinson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hoppus drives through and clinches with Wilkinson against the cage.
Hoppus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilkinson feints and as Hoppus raises his hands in defense, Wilkinson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilkinson stops Hoppus from standing up. Wilkinson passes Hoppus's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wilkinson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hoppus is just riding it out for now. Wilkinson eventually gives up the hold. Hoppus has one foot on Wilkinson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoppus tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkinson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hoppus wants to clinch up but Wilkinson keeps it at a distance. Wilkinson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wilkinson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hoppus is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
