Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dasha Karimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karimov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ACDC - Hells Bells kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karimov throws a jab when Flores was well out of range.
Karimov ducks under a wild hook from Flores.
We've been told by Flores's head coaches at Wild Card that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Crunch! Karimov slams his shin into Flores's torso.
Flores misses with a lunging right hand
and Karimov counters with a left to the body.

and Flores connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Karimov throws a wild body kick that Flores sees coming a mile off.

Flores throws a shot from downtown. Karimov moves away and avoids it.
Flores fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Karimov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Flores counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Karimov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dasha Karimov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flores was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Karimov throws a hook to the side of Flores's head but Flores sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Flores lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karimov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flores manages to avoid it.
Karimov is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Flores will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Karimov loads up on a big right hand but Flores slips the punch.
Sloppy strikes from Karimov. Those never looked like landing.

Flores throws a low kick, looking for Karimov's leg but Karimov calmly moves out of range.

Karimov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Flores throws an overhand right that lands on Karimov's shoulder, as Karimov tries to avoid the shot.

Flores looks to throw the jab but Karimov is out of range.
Karimov unleashes a big counter combination but Flores bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Karimov throws a jab but it's blocked by Flores.
Flores connects with a good right hand that stumbles Karimov. Karimov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Flores closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Karimov out cold! Karimov corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Rafael Flores decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
