Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darius Dunn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Royce Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Darius Dunn! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dunn has a takedown stuffed. Dunn thuds his shin into the meat of Allen's side. Nice body punch from Dunn. Dunn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Allen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dunn somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunn fails with a takedown attempt. Royce Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Dunn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn lands with a shot to the body. Dunn throws a combination that misses and Allen moves into the clinch. Allen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Allen jumps guard but Dunn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Dunn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Allen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dunn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Allen controls Dunn momentarily but Dunn frees himself.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Allen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dunn has a closed guard, preventing Allen from standing up. Dunn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dunn is edging up against the cage. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dunn. Dunn fails with the takedown and Allen counters with a single leg into guard. Dunn didn't expect that. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allen throws a big right hand that misses. Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Royce Allen. Well Dunn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
