Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Flow! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie moves out of range as Flow throws a body kick.
Flow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away. Flow lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie slips a jab from Flow. Gracie is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Flow. Flow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Flow looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A shot to the liver by Flow. Beautiful body shot. Flow misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flow throws a hook but Gracie blocks it. Gracie wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Gracie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Flow blocks a head kick by Gracie.
And Flow responds with a good body kick, but Gracie manages to step out the way in time. Gracie throws a hook but Flow blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flow takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. Flow is looking to chop away at Gracie's legs. Flow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Flow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Flow manages to circle out of the way. Gracie slips a straight right by Flow. Gracie avoids the head kick by Flow.
As Flow tries to get set, Gracie tries to push him back and clinch up but Flow manages to avoid the attempt. Flow connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks to land a left hand but Flow moved out of range nicely. Flow with a body punch. A glancing blow. Gracie dives in and grabs Flow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flow pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out. Flow ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ken Flow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie avoids the body shot from Flow.
Gracie is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Flow. Flow is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gracie rather than just go for the knockout. Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gracie moves into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Flow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gracie or not. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A short right from Flow on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Flow.

Gracie drops his hands momentarily and Flow takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Flow scores with a jab. Flow misses the shot to the body. As Flow tries to get set, Gracie tries to push him back and clinch up but Flow manages to avoid the attempt. Flow throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Flow throws a half hearted mid kick. Gracie tries to counter by clinching up but Flow breaks away and moves out of range. Flow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Flow lands with a nice body punch. Flow takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. Gracie throws out a loose jab but Flow uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Flow. Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket. Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Flow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie throws a big shot that misses. Flow throws a head kick that misses. Ken Flow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Flow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie is looking to counter the offense by Flow and move into the clinch. Flow throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Flow sprawls and moves away. Flow throws a leg kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Flow dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Flow misses with a looping left. Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Flow. Gracie needs to keep his hands up - Flow had a free shot at his head there. The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Flow is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Gracie with a body shot. Gracie tries to clinch up. Flow swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Flow counters with a solid body kick. Flow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gracie is out of range and Flow settles back down. As Flow tries to get set, Gracie tries to push him back and clinch up but Flow manages to avoid the attempt. Flow throws a half hearted mid kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Flow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Flow moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ken Flow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie throws a half hearted mid kick. Despite the aggression on Flow's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flow swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.

Gracie is looking to counter the offense by Flow and move into the clinch. Flow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Gracie is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Flow's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flow misses with a body kick. Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Flow moves away and avoids it. Flow moves away from the strike by Gracie. Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gracie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Gracie being controlled against the cage. Flow manages to break the clinch.

Flow throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease. Flow now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Flow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.

Ken Flow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Flow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie tries to clinch up. As Gracie backs off Flow throws a huge counter combo but Gracie manages to avoid it all. Flow looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Flow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Some wild striking there from Flow.

Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Flow. Flow throws a half hearted mid kick. Flow missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Flow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie clinches up against the cage. Gracie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Flow.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Flow has him pressed against the cage. Flow wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gracie pulls Flow into guard.
Flow is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Flow is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Flow! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Flow taps out and this one is all over!
