Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Attila Skif!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodney Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skif pushes Garcia away with a front kick.
Skif tried to score with a low kick but Garcia checks it.
Garcia looks to land a right hand but Skif moved out of range.
A big left from Skif misses.
Garcia throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Skif throws a counter high kick but Garcia was just alert enough to avoid it.
Garcia misses with a body punch
and Skif counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Skif throws a leg kick which misses Garcia's front leg but catches the back leg as Garcia tries to avoid it.
Garcia connects with a body shot.
Skif misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Skif wants to land a leg kick but Garcia is out of range.
Skif misses with a wild body shot.
Skif bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Garcia dives in for a single leg takedown but Skif sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Skif tries to land a front kick but Garcia steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Garcia lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Garcia stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Skif takes one on the button.
Skif looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Garcia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Garcia just misses with a punch to the body.
Garcia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skif manages to avoid it.
A jab lands there for Skif.
Skif keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Garcia.
A good leg kick by Skif.
Garcia takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rodney Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia just misses with a punch to the body.
Skif ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Skif.

Garcia connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Garcia rushes Skif and presses him up against the ropes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Garcia creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Garcia tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Skif's elbow.

Garcia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Skif backwards.

Skif connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Skif ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Garcia takes a swing at Skif's ribcage but misses.
Skif feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Garcia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skif.

Garcia throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Skif on the side of the head.
Garcia throws a hook but Skif avoids it easily.
Skif tries a head kick but it misses.
Garcia appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Skif defending well as Garcia loads up on a big left hand.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Skif. Garcia shrugs it off though.

Garcia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Garcia throws out a loose jab but Skif uses good head movement to avoid it.
Skif is looking to wear down Garcia with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Skif ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Garcia lands a jab to the head.
Skif throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skif cracks Garcia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Skif, right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

and Skif connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Garcia throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Skif counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Garcia off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Skif follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Garcia was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Attila Skif!
