Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kisuke Urahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfram Stelzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kisuke Urahara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wolfram Stelzer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urahara throws out a loose jab but Stelzer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Urahara takes one on the button.
Urahara keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stelzer.
Urahara feinted with a counter takedown.

Urahara drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stelzer wants to sweep but no luck.
Urahara wants to control from the top but Stelzer keeps moving.

Stelzer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urahara is looking to work some ground and pound but Stelzer has wrist control.

Stelzer has his foot on Urahara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Urahara works his way back into a safe position though.

Urahara is looking for a triangle but Stelzer pushes his legs off easily.

Urahara lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Urahara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stelzer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Urahara had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stelzer defends it easily.

Stelzer lands a couple of digs.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stelzer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stelzer wants to control from the top but Urahara keeps moving.

Urahara has an active guard here but Stelzer has managed to pass into half guard.

Urahara controls Stelzer momentarily but Stelzer frees himself.
Stelzer wants to control from the top but Urahara keeps moving.
Urahara is pulling down on Stelzer's head. It's preventing any offense from Stelzer, at least for the moment.
Stelzer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stelzer trying to control but Urahara is working from the bottom.
Stelzer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stelzer distracts Urahara with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Urahara is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Stelzer with a nice head shot there.
Stelzer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stelzer in particular looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wolfram Stelzer dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Urahara blocks the body kick.
Urahara takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Urahara connects with an inside leg kick.
Stelzer slips under a jab.
Stelzer tries to bum rush Urahara with a series of wild strikes but Urahara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Urahara attempts a counter takedown but Stelzer avoids it well and moves away.
Stelzer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Urahara finds it's way round the side to connect with Stelzer's head.
Stelzer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Urahara.
Urahara has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Urahara there as he acknowledges the shot.
Urahara takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Stelzer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Urahara on his heels. He'll look to pass Urahara's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee warns Urahara that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Urahara is squirming around, avoiding Stelzer's attempts to control the action.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wolfram Stelzer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Urahara will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stelzer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Urahara manages to avoid it.
Stelzer throws a front kick that sends Urahara stumbling back into the cage.

Urahara feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stelzer's calf.

Stelzer misses with some punches.
Stelzer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Urahara blocks an uppercut.
Stelzer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Urahara goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Urahara wants the takedown. Stelzer is fighting it off but Urahara persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Stelzer's guard against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Urahara goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stelzer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Urahara but great work by Stelzer.

I would just about give that final round to Wolfram Stelzer.
Well Stelzer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
