Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Templar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asa Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Templar.
Templar catches Sharp with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sharp misses with a head kick.
Sharp slips a straight right by Templar.
Sharp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Templar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Abraham in the buildup to the fight.
Phoenix Templar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Templar looks to throw the jab but Sharp is out of range.
Templar missing with a left hand there. Sharp was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown but Templar shows good takedown defense.

A nice side step and Sharp releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

That was a close round but I would say that Phoenix Templar will probably get the nod.

Sharp lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phoenix Templar will probably get the nod.

Asa Sharp comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
