Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donel Rand!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand tries to clinch up but Afolayan circles away and keeps his distance.
Afolayan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rand is fending him off so far but Afolayan persists. Nope, Rand circles away and we're back to standing.
Afolayan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rand moves into the clinch.
Afolayan fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rand misses with a hook to the ribs.
Afolayan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mbita Afolayan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rand swings wildly with an uppercut but Afolayan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Afolayan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rand just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rand lands a left hand.
Afolayan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Afolayan closes the distance and clinches up with Rand, looking for a takedown. Afolayan pushes Rand against the cage but Rand circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Donel Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rand darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rand lands a jab to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rand, as that shot connected.
Afolayan checks a leg kick.
Rand throws a head kick that misses
and Afolayan counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rand scores with a shot to the body.
Rand lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Afolayan shoots and misses
and Rand cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rand takes a swing at Afolayan's ribcage but misses.
Afolayan has Rand up against the cage in a clinch.
Rand lands with a short shot to the head.
Rand tries a body shot but Afolayan blocks it.
Afolayan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Afolayan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Afolayan misses with a takedown
and Rand counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Good standup being displayed there by Rand as he connects with a hook.
Rand dodges the punch combination from Afolayan.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Afolayan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Donel Rand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rand circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Afolayan to the canvas! Afolayan doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Rand keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
