Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rami Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny McCormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris's entrance music is Jedi Theme Music. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Rami Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny McCormick!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McCormick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Harris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCormick manages to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Harris.
McCormick thows a leg kick but Harris checks it
and Harris counters with a slapping leg kick.
McCormick misses with a looping left.
Harris has been working on his boxing with his coaches at mickeyharts the greatest in the buildup to the fight.
Harris throws a sloppy head kick and McCormick moves out of range easily.
McCormick shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCormick scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Harris thumps McCormick with a low kick.
McCormick throws a series of punches but Harris avoids them all with ease.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCormick throws a poor cross that misses
and Harris counters with a thumping low kick.

McCormick lands with a straight right. Harris didn't see that one coming.
McCormick on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Harris. Harris obviously looking to wear him down.
McCormick takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McCormick blocks a head kick by Harris.
McCormick throws a low kick, looking for Harris's leg but Harris calmly moves out of range.
McCormick throws a hook but Harris avoids it easily.
Harris feints and then cracks McCormick's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McCormick down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Harris. McCormick does a little dance to reset his feet.
Harris needs to keep his hands up - McCormick had a free shot at his head there.
Good standup being displayed there by McCormick as he connects with a hook.
Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but McCormick is just out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harris with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Harris slips under a jab from McCormick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Harris lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McCormick has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McCormick and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McCormick throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot.
Harris ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Harris takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McCormick throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A big left from McCormick misses.
Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCormick.

Harris dives in and scores a takedown into McCormick's guard.
McCormick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McCormick has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harris seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Harris wants to control from the top but McCormick keeps moving.
McCormick wants to hit a switch here but Harris passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for McCormick there!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McCormick has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Harris's lack of action.
McCormick wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.
Harris lands strikes from half guard.
Harris is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Harris is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Harris trying to control the action but McCormick is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rami Harris will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


McCormick with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Harris to score with a decent uppercut.
Harris throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
McCormick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCormick takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Harris lands a lovely overhand right.
McCormick misses with an uppercut
enabling Harris to counter with a crisp jab.
Rami Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCormick lands with an uppercut that bounces Harris off the cage and back into range.
McCormick moves forwards but Harris connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Harris blocks a low kick nicely.
Harris throwing a counter right hand but McCormick manages to avoid it.

McCormick avoids the head kick by Harris.
Rami Harris is winning the standup battle so far.
Harris darts in looking for a takedown but McCormick gets double underhooks and turns Harris into the cage.

McCormick misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harris.
Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A countering left hand to the body from McCormick misses.
Harris scores with a jab to the jaw.
Harris thuds his right hand into McCormick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Harris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCormick can do to turn this around?
McCormick lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McCormick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Harris counters with a nice uppercut.
Harris throws a leg kick
and McCormick counters with a right hand to the body.
McCormick throws the left hand but Harris avoids the punch easily.
McCormick throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot.
A quick step to the side and Harris tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCormick on the wrong end of a nice hook.


McCormick is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCormick drops his hands momentarily and Harris takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McCormick is still on wobbly legs! Can Harris finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris cracks McCormick with a hook to the temple - McCormick is on wobbly legs here! Harris swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! McCormick falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Harris wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rami Harris!
An out of breath Rami Harris thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
