Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Moors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Kopp! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Kopp lands an impressive looking overhand right. Moors doesn't seem phased though. Kopp fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moors sprawls well initially but Kopp persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kopp slips a nice elbow through Moors's hands, connecting with Moors's forehead. Kopp moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Moors. Kopp in side control lands a decent elbow. Kopp trying to control the action but Moors is working from the bottom. Kopp throws an elbow but Moors slips to the side and avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moors tries to buck Kopp off but Kopp is having none of it. Moors struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kopp advances to full mount. Kopp with shots to the head and body - Moors looks very uncomfortable down there. Poor strikes thrown by Kopp there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kopp cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kopp dominating with strikes here. Kopp scoring with strikes but Moors is staying in there. Moors taking shots to the head. Kopp controlling from the full mount. Kopp wants to control the pace but Moors is squirming around nicely. Kopp lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Kopp dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kopp feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moorss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kopp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moors is fending him off so far but Kopp persists. Nope, Moors circles away and we're back to standing. Good work by Moors as he checks the leg kick. Kopp misses with an uppercut. Moors throwing a counter right hand but Kopp manages to avoid it. Moors misses with a low kick.

Kopp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moors is fending him off so far but Kopp persists. Nope, Moors circles away and we're back to standing. Kopp misses with a body kick. Moors closes the distance and clinches. Moors stops a takedown attempt from Kopp.

Moors lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kopp is looking to take this one to the mat. Kopp blocks a body shot from Moors. Kopp using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Moors has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Moors stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Moors lands with a light punch inside. Moors keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kopp's efforts to push away. Moors tries to work over Kopp's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Moors works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This has been an exciting period of action! Moors pushes Kopp back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Moors digs a right hand underneath Kopp's ribcage. Kopp let out a lung full of air as it connected. A short right from Moors on the inside. Moors lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kopp backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Hugh Moors showed his dominance in that final round. I think Moors has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
