Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Momochi Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ao Ki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Momochi Hanzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ao Ki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ki instigates a clinch. Hanzo working aggressively here.
Hanzo has a couple of punches blocked by Ki.
Ki pulls guard. Hanzo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hanzo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hanzo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanzo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hanzo wants to control from the top but Ki keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ki can't keep his opponent in guard - Hanzo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hanzo wants to pass the guard but Ki is defending well. Ki looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hanzo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ki defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ki actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ki actively working from the bottom here. Ki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hanzo wants to take a breather but Ki is having none of it. Ki trying to get back to full guard but Hanzo takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Hanzo trying to control but Ki is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ki sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hanzo is trying to work for a kimura but Ki is defending well.
Ki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hanzo pulls his head out easily. Hanzo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ki has managed to free his arm - good work. Hanzo moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ki.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanzo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ki is trying to escape and Hanzo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ki is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hanzo! Very nice indeed!
