Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Saint Claire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jermaine Saint Claire looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jermaine Saint Claire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint Claire has his takedown stuffed

and Fisher counters by clinching up.

Saint Claire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fisher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fisher wants it to stay on the feet.
Fisher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Saint Claire darts in and clinches Fisher up against the cage.
Saint Claire manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fisher breaks from the clinch.
Fisher connects with a solid leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fisher buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Saint Claire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fisher fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Saint Claire.
Fisher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fisher clinches with his opponent.
Fisher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Saint Claire pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Saint Claire controlling the action here for a moment.
Saint Claire has Fisher pressed against the cage, preventing Fisher from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fisher tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Saint Claire avoids it.
Fisher drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fisher misses with a hook to the ribs.
Fisher is working for takedown but Saint Claire is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jermaine Saint Claire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Fisher.
Fisher misses with some punches.
A frustrated look appears on Fisher's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fisher tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fisher has a couple of punches blocked by Saint Claire.
Fisher wants a takedown.

Saint Claire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Saint Claire darts in and clinches Fisher up against the cage.
Fisher should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fisher is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Saint Claire.

Saint Claire successfully pulls guard.
Fisher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saint Claire swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fisher wants to control from the top but Saint Claire keeps moving.
Fisher throws a big right hand that misses.
Fisher is looking to work some ground and pound but Saint Claire has wrist control.
Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Saint Claire is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fisher slips nicely into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fisher wants to pass the guard but Saint Claire is defending well.

Fisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fisher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Saint Claire regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fisher.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucas Fisher dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fisher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saint Claire moves away.
Saint Claire wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Saint Claire shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fisher but Fisher pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Saint Claire takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saint Claire shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fisher pinned against the cage. Fisher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fisher tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Saint Claire decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Saint Claire lands strikes from half guard.
Fisher tries to get to full guard but Saint Claire has control of the leg.
Fisher gets full guard.

Fisher pushes a forearm under Saint Claire's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Saint Claire is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lucas Fisher!
