Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Haywood Badger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastyn Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall has chosen Beast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dall misses with a low kick.
Badger throws a nice inside leg kick.
A head kick misses from Badger.
Badger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Badger has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Marijuana Gardens in the buildup to the fight.
Badger lands a nice hook to Dall's body. Dall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dall takes a jab right on the kisser.

Dall misses with a wild body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Badger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Badger lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Badger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dall manages to avoid it.
Badger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Badger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dall moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Badger tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dall is in Badger's guard.
Dall wants to control from the top but Badger keeps moving.

Dall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Badger pulls Dall in close to prevent any damage.

Badger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dall wants to control from the top but Badger keeps moving.

Dall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dall is stalling in the full guard.
Badger tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Badger avoids the body shot from Dall.
Dall tries to score with a low kick but Badger moves his leg out of the way.

Bastyn Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Badger moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dall. Badger shrugs it off though.
Badger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dall avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dall pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Badger back to the cage. Dall follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Badger wants to land a leg kick but Dall is out of range.
Dall appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Badger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dall.
Dall misses with a head kick.
Badger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dall bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Badger's head backwards.
Dall throws the left hand but Badger avoids the punch easily.
Badger tries to land a front kick but Dall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Badger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dall lands a glancing blow to the side of Badger's head.
Nice shot lands for Dall.
Dall staying out of range there.
Badger gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Dall throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dall misses with a head kick.
Dall lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dall avoids the body shot from Badger.
Dall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dall misses with a straight right.
A jab from Dall misses.
Badger misses with a body shot.
Dall connects with a body shot that sends Badger's belly button to the back.
Dall tries for a takedown but Badger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Badger will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dall drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A low kick from Dall misses
and Badger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dall throws a head kick but Badger moves out of range.
Badger walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dall.
Dall lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Badger at a distance.
Dall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Badger as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dall lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dall punishes Badger's body with a nice straight punch.

and Badger counters with a takedown into side control.
Badger wants to control but Dall is keeping him busy.
Dall is trying to work for a sweep but Badger has mounted him!
Dall tries to hold on but Badger pushes him away.
Dall tries to reverse the position but Badger maintains control.
Badger pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dall is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dall is desperately trying to improve his position but Badger has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Badger lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Haywood Badger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
