Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Rouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Rouge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jackson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rouge takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Robert Rouge has been cut. Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson. Rouge fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Rouge persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jackson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jackson wants to control but Rouge is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rouge thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.

Rouge winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rouge throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely. Rouge scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rouge prevents Jackson from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nice strikes from Rouge there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rouge wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. Jackson trying to control here.
Jackson is looking to get back to is feet but Rouge passes into side control.
Jackson is not content to let Rouge control the position. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. Jackson defending against the ground and pound. Rouge fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Rouge is putting a hurting on Jackson here, landing some big shots from side control. Rouge is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rouge working away. Jackson is looking for a sweep. Rouge creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Rouge prevents Jackson from escaping the position. Jackson is trying to control Rouge's posture but Rouge avoids it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rouge asserts his dominance and retains side control. Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Rouge misses with the ground and pound. Jackson on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Rouge lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Rouge working the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rouge connects with a decent elbow. Rouge landing a few strikes. Jackson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jackson trying to control here.
Rouge slips a nice elbow through Jackson's hands, connecting with Jackson's forehead. Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rouge. Jackson is trying is best to control the position here. Rouge missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jackson striking from half guard on the bottom. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
Rouge looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A combination from Jackson does no damage. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Rouge has him pressed against the cage. Jackson is trying to break free. Rouge fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rouge gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jackson tries to get to full guard but Rouge has control of the leg. Rouge uses his free foot to push down on Jackson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jackson. Rouge with good strikes from the mount here! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Rouge dominated that round. The cut man is working on Robert Rouge's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rouge has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jay Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rouge on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jackson throws a series of punches but Rouge moves out of range. Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss. Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rouge shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rouge's hands. Rouge takes one to the chin there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rouge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rouge trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Rouge throws a strike but Jackson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jackson stands up and waves to Rouge to follow him. Jackson with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rouge counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Rouge.
Rouge can't do much from the bottom here. Rouge is looking to regain half guard here but Jackson keeps moving and retains side control. Jackson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rouge stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rouge shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Rouge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson throws a combination. Rouge tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rouge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rouge off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Rouge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rouge as he jumps to the side. Robert Rouge is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson scores with a nice head shot. Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rouge shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Rouge's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A right-left combo lands from Jackson. Rouge fails with the takedown letting Jackson counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Rouge will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Robert Rouge's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Jackson lands with a nice combination. Rouge backs away looking to recover. Rouge has a takedown stuffed. Jackson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rouge gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Jackson wants to clinch. Jackson scores with a jab. Rouge acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jackson scores with a one two! Rouge had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson lands a with a good body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rouge feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Rouge changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rouge! Rouge working to try and regain half guard.
Rouge swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Rouge tries to reverse the position but Jackson maintains control. Jackson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rouge's face.
Rouge is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rouge throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rouge is in all sorts of trouble here.

A nice elbow there by Jackson. Jackson prevents Rouge from getting the reversal. Rouge is working hard here to advance position. Jackson working for a guillotine from mount but Rouge is in no mood to give up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rouge throwing hammer fists to the chest of Jackson. What's that going to do exactly? Robert Rouge overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rouge really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
