The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opposite is looking to land body kicks.

Austin lands a nice hook to Opposite's body. Opposite takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Opposite tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Austin is able to avoid easily.

Austin lands a vicious elbow to the side of Opposite's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Austin tries to finish him with strikes but Opposite still seems able to defend himself so Austin steps back and lets Opposite get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Opposite is still on wobbly legs! Can Austin finish him?
Austin sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Opposite's defenses. It connects perfectly with Opposite's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Austin!
A very excited looking Shane Austin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
