Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Foster Burke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeah Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Foster Burke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yeah Boy !
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burke as he jumps to the side.
Boy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burke avoids it really well and circles away.

Boy shoots in and gets a takedown into Burke's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy tries to stand but Burke is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burke being controlled here, momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burke pulls Boy in close to his closed guard and prevents Boy from doing any damage or advancing position.
Burke continues to stall.
Burke wants to sweep but no luck.
Burke has a closed guard, preventing Boy from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Burke is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boy trying to move into half guard but instead Burke has managed to sweep!

Burke knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.
Burke trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom.
Burke controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Boy has his foot on Burke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burke works his way back into a safe position though.

Burke slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Boy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Burke defends well.
Burke trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Burke connects with a couple of short punches.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Boy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Burke controls the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Boy fails with the takedown.
A counter left hand to the body from Burke misses its target.
Foster Burke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yeah Boy .
Boy looks to throw a body kick

and Burke counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Burke.

Burke turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Boy is trying to buck Burke off.
Boy can't do much from the bottom here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Burke controls the position.
Boy wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Burke's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Boy has his takedown stuffed

and Burke counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Burke.
Boy is trying to keep Burke in close.
Burke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boy pulls Burke in close to his closed guard and prevents Burke from doing any damage or advancing position.
Burke trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Burke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Boy working for a triangle but Burke defends it easily.
Burke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Boy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Boy wants to stand and escape but Burke is having none of it.
Boy keeping moving, preventing Burke from controlling successfully.
Burke is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boy can do to turn this around?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boy wants to hit a switch here but Burke passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Boy there!
Burke controlling the position easily from mount.
Boy tries to lock up and control but Burke gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Boy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

You get the feeling that Boy really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Burke fails to move to back control.
Boy is trying desperately to improve position.
Burke pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Burke prevents Boy from getting the reversal.

Boy wants to get back to his feet.
Burke controlling his opponent.
Boy wants to control but Burke is having none of it.
Boy working to try and regain half guard.
Burke wants to control the pace but Boy is squirming around nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boy regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Foster Burke dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Boy doesn't manage to clinch there - Burke circles away.

Boy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Burke tries for a takedown. No joy.
Burke throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Burke has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Boy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Boy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burke manages to avoid it.
Burke swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Boy moves in looking to clinch but Burke pushes him off.
A counter left hand to the body from Burke misses its target.

Boy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Burke looking to control.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Burke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Burke wants to improve his position but instead Boy has moved into half guard.
Burke tries to get to full guard but Boy has control of the leg.

Boy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Boy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Boy wants to free his trapped foot but Burke is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boy wants to take a breather but Burke is having none of it.
Boy sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Boy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Burke does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Burke makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Burke.
Burke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Burke appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Burke connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Boy closes the distance and clinches.
Burke is trying to drag Boy to the mat but Boy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Boy is trying to pull guard but Burke turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Boy slowing the pace effectively.
Boy stops a takedown attempt from Burke.
Boy is looking for a takedown.

Boy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yeah Boy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Foster Burke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yeah Boy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Burke has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
