Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Campion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reed Basaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reed Basaev!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basaev bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Campion's head backwards.
Basaev jabs Campion to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Basaev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Basaev takes a swing at Campion's ribcage but misses.
Jab, jab by Basaev - just one landing.
Basaev pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Basaev lands a jab.
Basaev misses with a body kick.
Reed Basaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Basaev showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Campion.
Basaev lands a glancing blow to the side of Campion's head.
Campion tries to clinch but Basaev moves out of range.
Campion throws a looping overhand right but Basaev ducks down to avoid it.
Campion swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Campion takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Campion avoids the head kick by Basaev.

Campion goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nice body kick from Basaev.
Basaev moves into range and connects with a jab.
Basaev scores with a sloppy right hand. Campion should have avoided that one.
Basaev throws a head kick that Campion semi-blocks.
Campion takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oh Campion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Reed Basaev has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Campion. Those never looked like landing.
Campion is breathing heavily.
Campion rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Basaev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Basaev is stalking Campion. Campion circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Basaev, and it's lights out! Campion really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Reed Basaev!
