Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Chillum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chillum has chosen All the Way Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Koko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 49 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Doc Chillum!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chillum clinches.
Koko blocks the elbow strike.
Chillum lands a damaging elbow.
Koko takes an elbow to the forehead.
Koko blocks the elbow strike.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Chillum lands an elbow inside.
Koko lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chillum or not.
Koko avoids the elbow strike from Chillum, against the cage.
Koko lands a nice uppercut.

Koko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Koko slips under a jab.

Chillum pushes off an throws an elbow but Koko leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Koko misses with a hook to the ribs.
Koko pushes Chillum back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chillum throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Still in the clinch, Koko scores with a nice short uppercut.

Koko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Koko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Koko counters with a thumping low kick.
Koko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Koko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Doc Chillum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Koko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chillum's knee momentarily.
Koko lands with a hook. Chillum tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Koko dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Koko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chillum on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Koko. Koko obviously looking to wear him down.
Koko is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Chillum throws a shot from downtown. Koko moves away and avoids it.
Chillum tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Koko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chillum misses with a hook
and Koko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Koko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chillum wants to clinch
and Koko makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Chillum looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chillum throws a big shot that misses.
Chillum closes the distance but Koko moves to the side
and Koko counters with a leg kick.
Koko scores with a body shot.
Koko digs a good body shot into Chillum's ribs.

Chillum darts in and clinches Koko up against the cage.
Koko with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
With the fighters up against the cage, Koko throws an elbow but misses.
Chillum has a couple of punches blocked by Koko.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chillum swings wildly with an uppercut but Koko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Koko tries to throw a body punch but Chillum avoids it by throwing Koko back against the cage.
Koko tries to circle away but Chillum has him pinned against the cage.
Chillum lands with a left to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Koko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Koko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Koko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chillum's sensitive parts.
Koko keeps Chillum at a distance using the push kick.

Koko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chillum can do to turn this around?
Chillum shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Koko is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Chillum tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Koko counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Koko throws a leg kick which misses Chillum's front leg but catches the back leg as Chillum tries to avoid it.
Chillum's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Chillum wants to clinch up but Koko keeps it at a distance.
Koko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Koko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Koko lands a big head kick that sends Chillum to the canvas! Koko follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
