Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeShawn Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherk has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. DeShawn Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Sherk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, DeShawn Brown!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sherk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sherk doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sherk is breathing heavily.
Brown tries to clinch but Sherk is having none of it.
Brown cracks Sherk with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sherk looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brown finish him?
Sherk is rocked!
It looks like Matt Sherk has been cut.
Sherk wants to clinch.
Oh Sherk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sherk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sherk seems to have got his legs back now.
Brown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brown tries to bum rush Sherk with a series of wild strikes but Sherk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brown lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Sherk falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). DeShawn Brown!
