Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arjuna Ramadan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Mannetosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramadan throws a body punch but Mannetosen moves out of range.
Ramadan throws a hook to the side of Mannetosen's head but Mannetosen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ramadan throws a looping overhand right but Mannetosen ducks down to avoid it.

and Mannetosen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mannetosen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Ramadan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mannetosen defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramadan has his foot on Mannetosen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mannetosen works his way back into a safe position though.

Ramadan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mannetosen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mannetosen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mannetosen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramadan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ramadan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mannetosen wanted to stand there but Ramadan had control of the position.

Mannetosen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramadan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

And Mannetosen tries to counter it with a takedown but Ramadan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Mannetosen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Mannetosen wants to pass the guard but Ramadan is keeping the position.

Mannetosen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ramadan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ramadan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mannetosen keeps working.

Ramadan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mannetosen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ramadan passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mannetosen!

Ramadan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mannetosen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ramadan wants to control the pace but Mannetosen is squirming around nicely.
Arjuna Ramadan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ramadan with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mannetosen is breathing heavily.

Ramadan has hold of Mannetosen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mannetosen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mannetosen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ramadan locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mannetosen is forced to tap!
