Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maui Built (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Kong Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Built comes to the cage accompanied by Skills. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maui Built! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Li Kong Ho! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Built looks to land a right hand but Ho moved out of range. Ho on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ho swings and misses with a shot to the body and Built counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ho steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Built. That one must have hurt. Built works the jab nicely. Ho misses the jab. A clash of legs there as Built blocks the low kick. An attempted straight right counter from Built misses the target. A nice inside leg kick there by Built. That's going to slow Ho down. Ho throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ho throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Built paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A slow jab from Built misses its intended target. Ho changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Built ducks under a wild hook from Ho. A good leg kick by Built. Ho moves out of range of the leg kick from Built. Built throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A little jabbing left from Ho on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A solid leg kick lands there for Built.
That's one minute gone in the round. Built pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ho lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Built turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ho walks forward, straight into a front kick from Built. Ho looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Built is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ho is aware though and is defending well. Ho with a nice head shot there. Ho tries to free his leg and advance position but Built is retaining full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Built working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ho. Built looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Built working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ho has passed into half guard!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Built wants to get back to full guard but Ho has mounted him! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ho cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ho wants to control the pace but Built is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ho lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ho goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Built turns into him and now he's in Ho's guard.
Built postures up.
Built passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Built trying to advance position but Ho counters by regaining guard. Ho can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Built controls the pace. Ho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Built wants to pass the guard but Ho is keeping the position. Built preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ho looking to control.
Ho keeping moving, preventing Built from controlling successfully. Ho looking for a guillotine here but Built defends easily.
Built postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ho looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Built stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ho swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maui Built dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Good leg kick by Built there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Built throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ho misses with a left hand and Built makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ho really felt that one! Built pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ho is out of range and Built settles back down. Ho falls off balance throwing a combination
and Built counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ho throws a good cross that connects.
Ho shoots in and drives through. Built sprawls well. Ho lands with a nice body punch. A jab from Ho finds it's way through Built's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Built misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ho.
Built connects with a body shot that sends Ho's belly button to the back. Built swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Built walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ho looks to score with a jab to the body but Built is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho misses with a hook. Built ducked under it nicely. Built thuds his right hand into Ho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Built takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ho slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Ho throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Maui Built is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A nice leg kick lands there from Ho. Ho throws a hook but Built avoids it easily. Built feinted there with a counter leg kick. Built throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Built lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Ho shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Built looking for submissions off his back. Ho lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Built keeping control of the position. Ho uses his free foot to push down on Built's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Built. Li Kong Ho has got the better of the ground game so far. Built in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Built wants to hold on but Ho pushes him away. Built is bucking up trying to escape but Ho cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Built tries to hold on but Ho pushes him away. Ho with the ground and pound from mount. Ho with good strikes from the mount here!
Built is rocked! Built is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oh Built is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ho lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Built tries to hold on but Ho postures up. Ho controlling the pace for now. Built seems to have got his legs back now. Ho scoring with strikes but Built is staying in there. Ho looking to control but Built is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ho dominating with strikes here. Built working to try and regain half guard.
Ho unloading with bombs! Built is desperately trying to improve his position but Ho has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Built tries to hold on but Ho postures up. Ho lands a couple of good shots and Built has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Built is really stuck here.

Ho is landing with strikes from the back. Built wants to control his opponent's hands but Ho gets his hands free. Ho has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ho is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Built knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Built for a finish. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Built tries to escape but Ho has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Built manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ho's guard. Nice work there by Built.

Li Kong Ho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Ho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Built wants to clinch and Ho counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Built lands with a shot to the body. Built changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Maui Built is winning the standup battle so far. Ho goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Built looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ho is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ho thumps Built with a low kick. Built lands a nice shot that snaps Ho's head back.
A telegraphed right hand from Ho misses the target. Ho blocks a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A jab from Built finds it's way through Ho's defenses. Ho misses with a looping right. Good standup being displayed there by Built as he connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Built tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ho was well out of range. Poor timing from Built. Built clobbers Ho with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A slow jab from Ho misses its intended target. Ho changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Built looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ho throws an elbow but Built slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Built's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. My spies in Liverpools Red Tri-Angle MMA & Fitness inform me that Ho has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Built regains half guard. Built is refusing to be controlled, as Ho sits in half guard. Built is trying to stand.
Ho not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Built looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ho winds up and cracks Built with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ho throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Built tries to get to full guard but Ho has control of the leg. Ho has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Built takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Li Kong Ho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
