Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stanton Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Furion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanton Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Furion! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush has managed to clinch.
Furion blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bush jumps into guard, dragging Furion to the mat.
Bush might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Furion controls from within his opponent's guard. Bush looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Furion slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bush pulls Furion in close to prevent any damage. Furion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bush tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Furion stays in close to Bush's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Furion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Furion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yet more stalling tactics from Furion. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Furion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bush has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Furion is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bush is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Furion to the mat. Furion regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Furion pulls Bush in to control the position. Bush throws an elbow that misses. Furion uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bush's guard. Nice move by Furion! Furion content to stall in guard here. Bush wants to stand but Furion is controlling the position. Bush keeping moving, preventing Furion from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Furion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Furion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bush is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Furion leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Bush. No joy for Furion on that attempt. Furion with a poor takedown and Bush counters with a three punch combo that has Furion backing up. Furion nods at Bush to acknowledge the strikes. Furion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Furion looks winded! Bush is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bush slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Furion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stanton Bush will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bush decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Furion is trying is best to control the position here. Bush wants to stand up but Furion is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Furion keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bush is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Furion manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bush throws a strike but Furion rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Furion is fighting to break Bush's control of his arms but Bush is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Furion sitting in guard here, content to control. Bush looking to hit a scissor sweep but Furion is one step ahead there. Furion sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush keeping moving, preventing Furion from controlling successfully. Bush tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bush managing to control the position. Furion sitting in guard, not really doing much. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bush holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bush tries to sprawl but Furion drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Furion controlling the action here. Bush is controlling Furion's trapped leg to prevent Furion from advancing to side control. Furion is thwarting Bush's attempts to control the position. Furion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bush is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bush wants to get back to full guard. Furion not doing much here.
Max Furion has got the better of the ground game so far. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bush has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Furion is working away from the top position though. Furion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bush clinches with his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bush throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Bush gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Furion.

Furion controlling the pace. Bush is looking for a sweep. Furion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Furion in particular looking to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Furion is looking for a takedown. Furion is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bush pulls him back up using the underhooks. Furion blocks an elbow strike from Bush.

Bush is fighting to break Furion's control of his arms but Furion is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Furion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Furion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
