Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smut looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Smut is looking for a sweep.
Baggins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Baggins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baggins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Baggins throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Baggins tries to move into full mount but can't pass Smut's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Smut's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Baggins is working to tighten his grip on Smut's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smut has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Baggins is really squeezing tight and eventually Smut passes out! Baggins breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bilbro Baggins!
