Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Percival Velvet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafi Suparmanputra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Percival Velvet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafi Suparmanputra!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velvet wants to clinch but Suparmanputra slips to the side
and Suparmanputra counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Velvet misses with a takedown
and Suparmanputra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Suparmanputra ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Velvet shoots in and drives through. Suparmanputra sprawls well.
Suparmanputra darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Velvet misses with the body kick
and Suparmanputra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Velvet with a poor takedown
and Suparmanputra counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Percival Velvet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Velvet tries to clinch up
and Suparmanputra counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A combination from Suparmanputra does no damage.
Velvet drops his hands momentarily and Suparmanputra takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Velvet throws a series of punches but Suparmanputra avoids them all with ease.
Suparmanputra throws out a counter right but Velvet avoids it with no problem.

Velvet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Suparmanputra to counter with a crisp jab.
Velvet fails with the takedown
and Suparmanputra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Suparmanputra avoids the head kick by Velvet.
Velvet doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Suparmanputra counter with a right hand.
Suparmanputra looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Suparmanputra scores with a sloppy right hand. Velvet should have avoided that one.
Velvet is looking to clinch.
Suparmanputra lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Velvet fails with an attempt to clinch.
Velvet fails with the takedown
and Suparmanputra counters with a two punch combo.
Velvet throws a sloppy head kick
and Suparmanputra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Velvet shoots and misses
and Suparmanputra makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rafi Suparmanputra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Velvet is breathing heavily.
Velvet misses with a left hand
letting Suparmanputra counter with a right hand.
Suparmanputra is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Velvet had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Velvet takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Suparmanputra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Velvet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suparmanputra throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Velvet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Velvet seems to have got his legs back now.
Suparmanputra bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Velvet's head backwards.
Velvet misses with a takedown attempt
and Suparmanputra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Percival Velvet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suparmanputra lands with an uppercut that bounces Velvet off the cage and back into range.
Velvet throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Suparmanputra on the side of the head.
Velvet throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Suparmanputra counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Velvet has his takedown stuffed
and Suparmanputra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Suparmanputra drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Velvet right on the button. Velvet goes down! Suparmanputra follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Suparmanputra gets the win via TKO!
