Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Brown! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown connects with a looping right hand.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Blood uses good head movement to avoid it. Blood looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brown scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Brown throws a series of punches but Blood moves out of range. Brown misses the shot to the body. Blood slips under a jab. Blood tries to counter by clinching up but Brown breaks away and moves out of range. Blood pushes Brown up against the cage in a clinch. Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blood defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand. Brown throws a body shot but no joy. Blood fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brown thuds a left hand into Blood's body. Brown has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Blood is landing a low percentage of strikes. Blood is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blood misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Blood shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A slow jab from Brown misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blood slips a straight right by Brown. Blood is looking to counter punch. Blood rushes Brown and presses him up against the cage. Blood goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brown prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blood blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Blood wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Blood persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage. Blood postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blood wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Blood is fighting to break Brown's control of his arms but Brown is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Brown looking to control.
Blood missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Blood has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blood passes easily into side control. Nice work. Brown struggling a bit here. Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blood wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brown prevents Blood from moving into mount. Brown gets back to half guard. Blood is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Blood eventually gives up the hold. Blood is looking to advance position but Brown won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blood wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Brown tries to get to full guard but Blood has control of the leg. Brown tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Blood has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Brown slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brown desperately trying to maintain half guard. Brown looking for submissions off his back. Blood seems to be working for a kimura but Brown defends the submission attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown is pressing down on Blood's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. It looked like Blood was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Brown lands a nice shot that snaps Blood's head back.
Blood blocks a jab. Tyson Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blood tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brown misses with a right hand and Blood counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brown wants to get back to full guard. Brown is staying active underneath Blood, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Blood thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brown's head. Brown tries to get to full guard but Blood has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blood is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brown has managed to free his arm - good work. Brown tries to roll over but Blood keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blood pulls his head out easily. Brown is looking to improve his position.
Blood seems to be working for a kimura but Brown defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blood trying to control from half guard but Brown is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brown trying to hold on to Blood's head to control him but Blood postures up.
Blood is trying to control. Brown wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Blood uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown. No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blood attempts a counter takedown but Brown avoids it well and moves away. Blood sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Blood avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blood manages to avoid it. Tyson Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blood forces Brown back against the cage and clinches. Brown stops a takedown attempt from Blood.
Blood has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brown misses with a double jab
and Blood counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Blood trying to control from half guard but Brown is working away. Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Blood is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blood is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brown defends it well. Blood is working for a kimura but Brown is defending it quite comfortably.
Brown is looking to control Blood's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brown avoid being mounted? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Blood will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Blood gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Brown blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A short right from Brown. Blood tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blood closes the distance and clinches. Blood tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Blood drops back down to his feet.

Blood is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Blood dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Brown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blood doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown scores with a punch to the head. Richard Blood is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blood takes a jab right on the kisser.
Blood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blood gets slowly back to his feet. It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Blood takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Blood. Brown throws a hook to the side of Blood's head but Blood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Brown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Blood's head. A telegraphed right hand from Brown misses the target. Blood is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Brown. Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but Blood is just out of range. Brown has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blood was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown. Blood drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.
Brown breaks the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blood. Blood blocks a head kick by Brown.
Brown scores with a decent looking hook. Blood ducks under a wild hook from Brown. Blood moves into the clinch. Blood is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brown gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Brown prevents the takedown attempt.
Brown misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blood has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brown after a bit of a struggle. Brown working hard to break the clinch. Blood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brown gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brown lands with a right to the head. Brown leaning his opponent against the cage. Brown is pressed up against the cage. Blood has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Brown lands a jab to Blood's midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blood on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tyson Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blood blocks a jab. Blood half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Brown lands a high kick!
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brown has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
