Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Wollmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ethan Wollmann looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ethan Wollmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Stout!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wollmann shoots in but no luck this time.
Wollmann looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Stout looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wollmann!

Stout is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wollmann can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stout with shots to the head and body - Wollmann looks very uncomfortable down there.

Stout looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Stout prevents Wollmann from getting the reversal.
Stout works his way to his opponent's back.
Wollmann is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stout is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wollmann defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wollmann fending off the submission attempt from Stout.
Wollmann is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wollmann manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stout's guard. Nice work there by Wollmann.

Stout throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stout is on top in guard.
Stout works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Stout is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wollmann is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stout's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stout's back!
Stout turns into Wollmann and is now in his guard.
Stout trying to control the position from guard on top but Wollmann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stout stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wollmann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wollmann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stout is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Wollmann being controlled here, momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stout pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wollmann is keeping the position for now.
Wollmann trying to keep a closed guard but Stout is proving a slippery customer.
Stout chips away with some ground and pound.

Stout is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Stout feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Stout forces his way into half guard.
Wollmann won't allow Stout to pass to mount.
Wollmann is trying to stand.

Stout is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wollmann is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edward Stout!
