The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Ship.


Robt Wilson's cut is getting worse.

Ship is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wilson's half guard.

Wilson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Wilson misses with a series of wild punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ship drives through with a takedown into Wilson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Wilson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ship off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ship forces Wilson back against the cage and clinches.
Ship wants a takedown but no success here.

Ship has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wilson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wilson just trying to survive but Ship is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Ship lands punches and elbows.
Ship controls the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ship is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Wilson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ship.

Ship gets his hands free as Wilson looks to control.
Ship is controlling the position but Wilson somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Ship is keen to just control but Wilson is a slippery customer.

Wilson is refusing to be controlled, as Ship sits in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ship decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
No luck for Ship with that takedown attempt.
Wilson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Ship gets a clinch.

Ship has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wilson uses from the top position.
Ship looking for a sweep. Not yet Ship, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shipi Ship will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Ship darts in and clinches Wilson up against the cage.
Wilson jumps guard but Ship stands there with Wilson around his waist. Wilson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wilson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ship changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wilson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Ship closes the distance and clinches.
Wilson is trying to drag Ship to the mat but Ship just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robt Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ship jumps guard.
Ship trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Ship throwing short punches from the bottom.
Wilson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ship tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ship looking to control.
Ship is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ship wants to free his trapped foot but Wilson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ship wants to take a breather but Wilson is having none of it.

Ship winds up and cracks Wilson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.


Robt Wilson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robt Wilson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Shipi Ship!
