Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Mcduffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters's entrance music is BringThe Pain. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Mcduffy! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcduffy throws a series of punches but Peters avoids them all with ease. The fighters circle momentarily. Mcduffy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Mcduffy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peters moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Patrick Mcduffy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcduffy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Peters fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcduffy sprawls well initially but Peters persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Peters is looking to stall here but Mcduffy recovers full guard. Peters has gone for a leg lock! Mcduffy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Peters's guard. Peters looking for a guillotine here but Mcduffy defends easily.

Peters Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mcduffy's back instead. Mcduffy showing good submission defense here.

Peters is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mcduffy is defending well though. Peters let's go of the attempt for now.

Peters is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mcduffy is defending well though. Peters let's go of the attempt for now. Pain Peters dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Peters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Peters misses the jab. Mcduffy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peters gets a takedown into half guard. Peters is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mcduffy has managed to free his arm - good work. Peters throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Peters is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Peters is trying to control the action in half guard but Mcduffy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Peters thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mcduffy to regain full guard. Peters wants to pass the guard but Mcduffy is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mcduffy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mcduffy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mcduffy is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcduffy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcduffy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcduffy! Peters is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mcduffy's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Mcduffy prevents Peters from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Peters is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Mcduffy pulls his head out easily. Peters makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peters. Peters is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Peters looking for a sweep. Not yet Peters, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pain Peters dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Danga de danga de dang - Mcduffy scores with a four punch combination! Mcduffy throws a series of punches but Peters moves out of range. No joy there for Mcduffy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mcduffy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peters moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Horrible takedown by Peters or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcduffy which made him look bad. Mcduffy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Peters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcduffy as he jumps to the side. Mcduffy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peters. A combination from Mcduffy does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcduffy throws a right and a left that both miss. Mcduffy misses with a body shot.

Peters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mcduffy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A head kick from Peters lands but Mcduffy takes it in his stride. Peters closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcduffy is not content to let Peters control the position. Peters seems to be working for a kimura but Mcduffy defends the submission attempt. Mcduffy wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Pain Peters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mcduffy is not content to let Peters control the position. Mcduffy is letting Peters control him for a moment. Patrick Mcduffy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! An elbow from Peters crashes against the mat.
A lull in the action here as Peters stalls from top position. Peters trying to control the action but Mcduffy is working from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Pain Peters showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peters, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
