Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Juan Carlos Aymara!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aymara wants to clinch but Salazar slips to the side

and Salazar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Aymara preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aymara can do anything to dispel that myth.
Salazar scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Salazar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Salazar trying to control but Aymara is working from the bottom.
Salazar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aymara works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Salazar postures up and lands a big shot to Aymara's brow.
Salazar lands a couple of digs.
Salazar throws a big right hand that misses.
Salazar trying to control the position from guard on top but Aymara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Salazar landing with the ground and pound.
Salazar is working Aymara over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Salazar stands up over Aymara, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Salazar scoring with punches to the head and body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aymara keeping moving, preventing Salazar from controlling successfully.
Salazar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Salazar with a nice head shot there.
Salazar trying to control the position from guard on top but Aymara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Salazar advances to half guard.
Salazar works his foot free and advances to mount.
Salazar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Aymara looks winded!
Salazar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aymara is looking to escape.
Salazar with good strikes from the mount here!
Salazar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Salazar breaks from Aymara's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Aymara is rocked!
Salazar postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Aymara out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Salazar goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Juan Salazar!
