Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Allahu Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saad AbdUllah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allahu Akbar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allahu Akbar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Saad AbdUllah! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from AbdUllah.
A slow jab from Akbar misses its intended target. Akbar misses with a shot to the body and AbdUllah counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. AbdUllah misses with an uppercut. Akbar saw that one coming. AbdUllah takes a shot right to the bread basket. Decent striking displayed by AbdUllah there. AbdUllah connects with a good right hand that stumbles Akbar. Akbar circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Akbar's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Akbar duly obliges.
It looks like Saad AbdUllah has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big left from AbdUllah misses. AbdUllah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Akbar was well out of range. Poor timing from AbdUllah. Akbar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Akbar lands a slapping body shot.

AbdUllah is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. AbdUllah throws a lazy uppercut
and Akbar counters with a single leg into guard. AbdUllah didn't expect that. AbdUllah is still in real trouble! Can Akbar finish him? AbdUllah seems keen to control Akbar's posture. Akbar won't allow AbdUllah to sweep him here. AbdUllah seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. AbdUllah pulls Akbar in close to prevent any damage. Akbar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Akbar wants to control from the top but AbdUllah keeps moving. AbdUllah is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akbar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as AbdUllah throws out the jab. Akbar takes one to the chin there. AbdUllah looks to score with a jab to the body but Akbar is just out of range. AbdUllah takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fighters circling - AbdUllah throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Akbar lands a head shot. Akbar cracks a nice hook into AbdUllah's ribs. AbdUllah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A big left from AbdUllah misses. Akbar paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Akbar has AbdUllah up against the cage in a clinch.
Akbar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Akbar prevents a body shot from AbdUllah. AbdUllah doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That has opened up Saad AbdUllah's cut even more. A short left from Akbar. AbdUllah tries a body shot but Akbar blocks it.
Akbar is trying to maintain a safe position but AbdUllah gets an underhook and turns Akbar into the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Akbar. Akbar can't find room to land a body shot as AbdUllah controls the action.
Akbar scores with a nice hook to the head. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. AbdUllah is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A short left from Akbar. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A right hand to the body from Akbar.

Allahu Akbar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Saad AbdUllah's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

That sent Akbar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. AbdUllah walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Akbar lands with a cross. Akbar sizes up AbdUllah with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. AbdUllah throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Akbar counters with a shoot takedown. AbdUllah fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! AbdUllah pulls Akbar in to control the position. Akbar won't allow AbdUllah to sweep him here. AbdUllah controlling Akbar's posture. Akbar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. AbdUllah's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Akbar moves forwards but AbdUllah connects with a nice, crisp jab. AbdUllah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Akbar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. AbdUllah looks to score with a jab to the body but Akbar is just out of range.

AbdUllah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from AbdUllah in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Akbar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Akbar needs to keep his hands up - AbdUllah had a free shot at his head there. Akbar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Akbar takes a jab right on the kisser.
Akbar connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent AbdUllah tumbling to the canvas! Akbar pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! AbdUllah was done - good stoppage!
