Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Coulthard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Smith Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith Jr has chosen Public Enemy- shut em down as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rhys Coulthard!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikey Smith Jr!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulthard looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith Jr is just out of range.
Smith Jr shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Coulthard eats them both and turns towards Smith Jr to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Smith Jr pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Coulthard back to the ropes. Smith Jr follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Smith Jr throws an off balance right hand
letting Coulthard counter with a right hand.
Coulthard tries to move into range but Smith Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Smith Jr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Coulthard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Smith Jr! Coulthard is backing up but he can't get away as Smith Jr lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Coulthard and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mikey Smith Jr!
Mikey Smith Jr is the new lightweight champion!
Mikey Smith Jr really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements Q160/$225 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
