Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 75 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Jaromir Jag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, David Datsik! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jag takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jag checks a leg kick. Datsik lands a leg kick that knocks Jag off balance momentarily. Jag rushes Datsik and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Datsik has Jag pushed against the cage. Jag pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Jag misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Datsik.

Still in the clinch, Datsik scores with a nice short uppercut. Datsik lands with a short head shot on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Datsik creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Datsik.
Jag is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Datsik lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Oh Jag is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jag has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Datsik lands a hook that snaps the head of Jag backwards. Datsik lands with a right to the head. Datsik blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Datsik working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Datsik has Jag pushed against the cage. Datsik is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Datsik pushes Jag back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A short uppercut from Datsik. Datsik lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jag backwards. Datsik lands a hook to the side of the head. Datsik leaning his opponent against the cage. Datsik lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Datsik softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Datsik lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jag backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Datsik dips a shoulder and cracks Jag with a mighty uppercut! Jag falls back against the cage and Datsik unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jag is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Datsik screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
