Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amr Al As (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Marlo Stanfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Amr Al As!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanfield throws a head kick but Al As moves out of range.
Stanfield blocks a head kick by Al As.
Stanfield wants to clinch.
Al As shapes to counter with a head kick.
Al As takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Al As lands with a straight right. Stanfield didn't see that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanfield looks to land a right hand but Al As moved out of range.

Al As's coach down at Helsinki Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Al As's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Al As escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stanfield throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Al As looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Al As slips a jab and a cross from Stanfield.

Stanfield throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Al As on the side of the head.

It looked like Stanfield was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Al As counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stanfield walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Al As avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Al As uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stanfield.

A little jabbing left from Al As on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Stanfield tries to land a front kick but Al As steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Al As ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Al As closes the distance and pushes Stanfield back into the cage.
Stanfield misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Al As swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Stanfield cracks Al As with a nice body shot.
Stanfield lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Stanfield pushes Al As back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stanfield.
Stanfield definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Stanfield throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Al As.

Al As throws a big uppercut that drops Stanfield! More strikes from Al As and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Stanfield lies dazed against the cage as Al As celebrates with his cornermen!

A very excited looking Amr Al As made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Marlo Stanfield was interviewed post fight and said 'He got me! Well done to Him,this is not the end for me, I'm gonna take some time, work on my skills the I'll be back! '.
