Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gilberto Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gilberto Silva!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.
Good leg kick by Snow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.

It seemed like Snow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Snow goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Snow lands with a nice body punch.

Snow is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Silva with a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Snow sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Snow has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Silva.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
