Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pony Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hale comes to the cage accompanied by Dead Sara - Weatherman. Mclovin has chosen Redbone- Come And Get Your Love as his entrance music. Pony Mclovin has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Hale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pony Mclovin!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Hale misses.
Hale bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mclovin's head backwards.
Hale blocks a head kick by Mclovin.
Hale bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hale half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Hale misses with a low kick.
Mclovin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hale takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice defenses there by Hale.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mclovin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hale works the jab nicely.
Mclovin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hale.
Hale misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mclovin, right into the meat.
Mclovin lands a glancing blow to the side of Hale's head.
Hale seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mclovin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hale was well out of range. Poor timing from Mclovin.
Hale fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mclovin just manages to avoid it.
Pony Mclovin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hale drops Mclovin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mclovin looks back up at him and smiles so Hale waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Mclovin is rocked!
We've been informed that Mclovin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hale scores with a jab to the body.
Mclovin is still on wobbly legs! Can Hale finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hale throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mclovin seems to have recovered his senses.
Mclovin throws a body kick that misses.
Hale looks to score with a jab to the body but Mclovin is just out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mclovin! But no joy.
Mclovin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hale momentarily.
Mclovin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mclovin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hale on the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mclovin throws a right hand that Hale ducks under and follows up with a left that Hale also avoids with ease.
A left lands for Mclovin.
Mclovin tries to land a front kick but Hale steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mclovin looks to land a left hand but Hale moved out of range nicely.
Mclovin misses with a wild body shot.
Hale throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mclovin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mclovin throws a leg kick but Hale checks it.
A slow jab from Hale misses its intended target.
Mclovin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hale with a body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hale, right into the meat.
Mclovin looks to land a body kick but Hale moved away.
Hale tries to counter with a takedown but Mclovin is quick to defend against it.
Hale keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mclovin connects with a solid leg kick.
Mclovin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hale moves away.
Hale gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mclovin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mclovin throws a sloppy head kick and Hale moves out of range easily.
Hale drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mclovin sprawls and moves away.
Hale throws a body punch but Mclovin moves out of range.
Hale looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mclovin slips under a jab.
Hale throws a hook but Mclovin avoids it easily.
As Hale backs off Mclovin throws a huge counter combo but Hale manages to avoid it all.
Hale with a nice cross.
Hale scores with a jab to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hale rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mclovin counters with a leg kick.
Hale keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mclovin misses the body punch
and Hale counters with a body kick that stops Mclovin in his tracks momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mclovin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hale blocks a jab.
That kick from Hale tenderised Mclovin's leg. Mclovin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mclovin throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mclovin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mclovin avoids the head kick by Hale.
Hale throws a poor cross that misses
and Mclovin counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Hale will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hale keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crunch! Hale slams his shin into Mclovin's torso.
Mclovin throws a body punch but Hale moves out of range.

Hale lands a big head kick that sends Mclovin tumbling to the mat! Hale takes a step backwards and waves Mclovin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hale doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mclovin moves out of range of the strikes.
Mclovin thinks about the counter body kick.

Hale lands a big uppercut and Mclovin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mclovin looks OK. Hale waves Mclovin back to his feet!
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Mclovin might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hale has got the better of the exchanges.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mclovin looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hale lands a right hand from hell, dropping Mclovin. Hale pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Hale!
Brandon Hale tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
