Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Dias Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquin Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortunado has chosen Stairway to Heaven as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias Jimenez throws a head kick but Fortunado moves out of range.

Fortunado throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dias Jimenez on the side of the head.
Fortunado connects with a nice looking jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dias Jimenez.
Fortunado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dias Jimenez was well out of range. Poor timing from Fortunado.

Fortunado's coach down at Cutthroat was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fortunado's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Dias Jimenez throws an off balance right hand
and Fortunado counters with a nice uppercut.
Dias Jimenez explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Dias Jimenez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fortunado makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dias Jimenez really felt that one!
