Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obelix De Gaul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Grimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Gaul comes to the cage accompanied by Asterix and Obelix. Grimson has chosen Omerta - Lamb of God as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from De Gaul. Grimson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grimson throws out a counter right but De Gaul avoids it with no problem.
Grimson fakes the leg kick and cracks De Gaul in the body.
De Gaul throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
De Gaul throws a jab when Grimson was well out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grimson! But no joy.

De Gaul sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

We've been informed that Grimson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

De Gaul has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether De Gaul might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

De Gaul is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

The fighters circle, before Grimson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into De Gaul's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Grimson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
