Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Evin Burnette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connan Huges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huges has chosen hard as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Connan Huges has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Huges.
Huges scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Huges tries to clinch up but Burnette circles away and keeps his distance.
Burnette half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Huges closes the distance and clinches.
Burnette keeps control of Huges as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Burnette just misses with a elbow thrown towards Huges's brow.

Huges is pressed up against the cage. Burnette has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Huges down to the mat. Huges avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Huges tries for a takedown but Burnette sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Huges throws a series of punches but Burnette avoids them all with ease.
Burnette is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Connan Huges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huges tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Burnette swivels and escapes.

Huges lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Burnette stands and throws Huges's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burnette has an Americana. Huges didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Burnette is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Burnette hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Evin Burnette!
Connan Huges was interviewed post fight and said 'He played dirty and never given a warning so he kept on combining some dirty boxing til he wins, but if I was da one playing dirty the reef would have stop the fight as disqualification. my fans won't be disappointed in the next fight!''.
