Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Naya Shinoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinoki comes to the ring accompanied by wadiako. The crowd seem to be enjoying Stanfield's choice of entrance music: Legendary. Marlo Stanfield will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinoki shoots for a takedown but Stanfield saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A little jabbing left from Stanfield on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Stanfield rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shinoki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shinoki half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Shinoki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shinoki attempts a counter takedown but Stanfield avoids it well and moves away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Shinoki or perhaps it was just good defense by Stanfield, which made it look bad.
Stanfield misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Stanfield finds it's way through Shinoki 's defenses.
Shinoki feints and as Stanfield raises his hands in defense, Shinoki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shinoki is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Shinoki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Shinoki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Shinoki is pushing down on Stanfield's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stanfield is fighting to maintain full guard but Shinoki has managed to sneak the leg through.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shinoki lands a nice short elbow.
Shinoki not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Shinoki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stanfield's head.
Stanfield pushes Shinoki off looking to stand but Shinoki dives back in and keeps control.
Shinoki moves into full mount! Stanfield won't be happy about that!
Shinoki won't let Stanfield get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Shinoki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stanfield has worked his arm free - good work by Stanfield!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Stanfield wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shinoki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stanfield defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Naya Shinoki . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stanfield tests Shinoki 's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Stanfield scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Shinoki is rocked!
Stanfield connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Shinoki covering up! Stanfield comes in with a big uppercut and Shinoki goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marlo Stanfield!
A very excited looking Marlo Stanfield made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Naya Shinoki stepped up to the mic, saying ' Didn't go my way I will come back stronger Congrats to my opponent an best of luck in the future thanks you all for the support'.
