Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul comes into the arena with Violence Fetish - Disturbed blaring out of the sound system. Xavier Paul could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brent Mcneil's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xavier Paul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brent Mcneil!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul moves out of range as Mcneil throws a body kick.
Mcneil closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mcneil decides to stand and escape the position.
Paul scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mcneil is trying to stand up here but Paul is controlling him well.
Paul tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mcneil.
Paul perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Paul stops Mcneil from getting back to his feet.
Paul tries to stand and escape but Mcneil is controlling the position.
Mcneil is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Paul scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paul is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mcneil doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Paul.
Paul is breathing heavily.
Mcneil looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Paul wants to take a breather but Mcneil is having none of it.
Mcneil wants to stand back up but Paul manages to pass into side control.
Mcneil prevents Paul from improving position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mcneil takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Mcneil takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Paul stands up.
Paul is looking to land body kicks.
Paul is looking to clinch but Mcneil is avoiding it.
Mcneil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mcneil misses with a looping left.
Paul tries to clinch up but Mcneil circles away and keeps his distance.
Paul closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Paul lands in his opponent's guard.
Paul tries to stand but Mcneil is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Paul throws and elbow that misses. Mcneil uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Paul's guard. Nice move by Mcneil!
Mcneil stands and steps away. Paul gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Paul rushes Mcneil and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Paul stops a takedown attempt from Mcneil.
Mcneil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Paul walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mcneil checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mcneil, as that shot connected.
Mcneil is looking to slow Paul down with leg kicks.
Paul tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mcneil counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcneil thows a left - swing and a miss!
Some wild striking there from Mcneil.
Xavier Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcneil throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Paul colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Mcneil as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Paul is left battered and dazed whilst Mcneil and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brent Mcneil!
