Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gil Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slim Shady has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gil Casey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slim Shady! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shady scores with a takedown into Casey's guard. Casey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shady defends well. Casey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Shady controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Casey trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Casey is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casey postures up in Shady's guard and throws a big left but Shady blocks it. Casey throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Casey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Shady has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Casey has passed into side control.
Casey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shady tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Casey presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shady is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Casey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Shady's face.
Casey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Shady is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Casey controlling the position easily from mount. Shady is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Casey wants to finish this one by submission but Shady is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Casey.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shady tries to reverse the position but Casey maintains control. Casey goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shady is on top in guard.
Casey is looking for a triangle but Shady pushes his legs off easily.
Casey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shady looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shady landing with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Casey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shady defends it easily. Shady stopping the sweep attempt from Casey. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Casey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shady's guard. Shady is controlling Casey's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gil Casey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Casey has managed to clinch.
Shady leaning his opponent against the cage. Casey working hard to break the clinch. Shady gets control of Casey's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shady will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Casey lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shady wants to sweep but no luck. Shady wants to stand but Casey is controlling the position. Casey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shady can do to turn this around? Shady is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shady looking for a sweep. Not yet Shady, not yet. Shady is breathing heavily. Casey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Casey postures up in Shady's guard and throws a big left but Shady blocks it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Casey drives through and clinches with Shady against the cage.
Shady has clasped his hands together around Casey's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Casey is not content to let Shady control the position. Shady tries to stand but Casey is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Casey is looking to regain half guard here but Shady keeps moving and retains side control. Shady working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Casey struggling a bit here. Shady trying to control the action but Casey is working from the bottom. Casey is trying to control Shady's posture but Shady avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casey is looking to regain half guard here but Shady keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Casey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shady throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Shady is looking to take a break and control but Casey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shady gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Casey leaning against his opponent.
Casey is working for takedown but Shady is calmly controlling the position for now. Casey working hard to break the clinch. Shady is trying to push Casey away but Casey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Shady pulls guard. Shady is trying to control the position but Casey postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Casey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shady manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Casey has Shady in his guard.
Casey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slim Shady showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Shady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Shady is working for an americana but Casey has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Shady was thinking about the submission. Casey keeping moving, preventing Shady from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Casey wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Shady takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shady wants to pass the guard but Casey is keeping the position. Casey wants to sweep but no luck. Casey is looking for a triangle but Shady pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Casey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Casey blocks the strikes from Shady.
Casey stops Shady from getting back to his feet.
Casey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Casey looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Casey seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shady is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
