Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Spring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spring has chosen Human as his entrance music. Tyson Spring struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Sven Karlsson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spring shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Karlsson as he jumps to the side. Spring looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Spring fails in his attempt to clinch. Karlsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spring but Spring pushes him off and we're back to square one. A combination from Karlsson does no damage. Karlsson misses with a few strikes there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Karlsson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Karlsson lands a heavy elbow. Karlsson raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Spring changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karlsson tries to avoid it but Spring manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karlsson to the ground. Karlsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Karlsson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Spring counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spring. Spring manages to pull guard.
