Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Houghton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elijah Hall! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houghton slaps away a takedown attempt from Hall, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Houghton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Houghton. Houghton thuds his right hand into Hall's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Elijah Hall has been cut. Houghton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Houghton wants it to stay on the feet. Houghton throwing a counter right hand but Hall manages to avoid it. Hall tries to work over Houghton's front leg with a kick but Houghton checks it. Houghton lands the left hand. Houghton punishes Hall's body with a nice straight punch. Hall is trying hard to land a takedown here. Houghton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. It looked like Houghton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jake Houghton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elijah Hall. Houghton lands a nice hook to Hall's body. Hall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hall looks winded! Houghton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Houghton punishes Hall's body with a nice straight punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Houghton lands a body shot.

Houghton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houghton sends Hall crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Houghton is motioning to the referee to let Hall up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hall is rocked! Houghton darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Hall's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Houghton before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Houghton!
