Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Fightmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ryan Adams has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Fightmaster!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams lands a head kick that stumbles Fightmaster and the fighters go to the mat.


It looks like Max Fightmaster has been cut.
Adams has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fightmaster is proving hard to escape from.
Fightmaster wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him.
Fightmaster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Fightmaster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fightmaster lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adams!
Fightmaster is landing with some decent strikes but Adams is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Adams wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Fightmaster.
Adams is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Fightmaster won't let Adams get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Adams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fightmaster is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Adams has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Fightmaster moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Adams has worked his arm free - good work by Adams!
Fightmaster looks gassed!

Adams managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fightmaster.
Fightmaster misses with the ground and pound.
Fightmaster looking to control but instead Adams has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Adams is trying to stand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fightmaster stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Adams to get to his feet.

Fightmaster drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fightmaster throwing strikes but Adams manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Fightmaster sneaks back into half guard.

Fightmaster makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Fightmaster dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Fightmaster fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adams sprawls well initially but Fightmaster persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fightmaster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fightmaster thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adams's head.

Fightmaster is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Adams defends it well.
Fightmaster has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fightmaster is breathing heavily.

Fightmaster is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Adams is just riding it out for now. Fightmaster eventually gives up the hold.

Adams regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fightmaster.
Adams wants to get back to his feet but Fightmaster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Adams is working an open guard so Fightmaster takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fightmaster steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Adams.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Fightmaster moves out of range easily.
A jab from Adams finds it's way through Fightmaster's defenses.

Fightmaster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fightmaster is pushing Adams up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fightmaster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Max Fightmaster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fightmaster lets loose with a powerful body kick. Adams will feel that in the morning.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Adams avoids the head kick by Fightmaster.
The fighters circling - Adams throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fightmaster.
Fightmaster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Adams sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fightmaster throws a shot from downtown. Adams moves away and avoids it.
Fightmaster throws a combination. Adams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Fightmaster throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Adams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fightmaster scores a takedown into full mount!
Fightmaster putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Fightmaster lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Adams hang on?
Fightmaster is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Adams is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Fightmaster scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Fightmaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Adams's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Fightmaster dips to his left and cracks Adams with an uppercut!
Fightmaster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Adams throws a jab when Fightmaster was well out of range.
Adams misses with an uppercut. Fightmaster saw that one coming.
Nice defenses there by Fightmaster.

Fightmaster gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Fightmaster tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Fightmaster breaks from the clinch.
Fightmaster throws an overhand right that lands on Adams's shoulder, as Adams tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fightmaster looks to land a body kick but Adams moved away.
Fightmaster throws a one two combo.

Fightmaster darts in and clinches Adams up against the cage.

Fightmaster breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Adams lands a big head kick that sends Fightmaster to the canvas! Adams follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Adams!
