Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Shaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Smithsgaurd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blake Shaffer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Smithsgaurd! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaffer clinches. Shaffer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shaffer prevents a body shot from Smithsgaurd. Shaffer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smithsgaurd misses with a leg kick and Shaffer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Smithsgaurd drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shaffer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Shaffer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smithsgaurd wants to clinch but Shaffer slips to the side and Shaffer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smithsgaurd thinking. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Smithsgaurd with that takedown attempt. Shaffer is looking for a counter combo. Smithsgaurd should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Shaffer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smithsgaurd shoots in looking for a takedown but Shaffer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smithsgaurd's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Blake Shaffer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Smithsgaurd. Shaffer leaves Smithsgaurd with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Smithsgaurd looks to clinch and Shaffer counters with a left to the body. Smithsgaurd looks winded! Smithsgaurd misses with a takedown attempt and Shaffer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Larry Smithsgaurd has been cut. Smithsgaurd fails with the takedown and Shaffer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Shaffer breaks from the clinch.
Smithsgaurd misses with a shot to the body and Smithsgaurd takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaffer lands a left and a right that send Smithsgaurd crashing to the mat, dazed. Shaffer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Smithsgaurd is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shaffer connects with a stiff jab that staggers Smithsgaurd - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Blake Shaffer!
