Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 35 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Caldwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Jolly! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caldwell clinches. Jolly misses with an elbow over the top. Caldwell lands a right hand. Caldwell looking to slow down the pace here. Caldwell swings wildly with an uppercut but Jolly uses good head movement to avoid it. Jolly breaks the clinch.
A shot to the liver by Caldwell. Beautiful body shot. Jolly fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jolly drives through and clinches with Caldwell against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caldwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caldwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jolly swivels and escapes. Jolly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Caldwell counters with a one-two to the body. Caldwell keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caldwell lands a body shot.
Jolly moves out of range of the body kick. Jolly changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Caldwell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jolly has him pressed against the cage. Jolly prevents Caldwell from breaking the clinch. Caldwell swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jolly gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Caldwell regains guard.
Caldwell has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jolly has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Caldwell tries to break the clinch but Jolly is controlling the position. Caldwell can't break the clinch.
Jolly wants to break free but Caldwell has control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caldwell on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jolly is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jimmy Caldwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Jolly. Caldwell wants to get back to striking at distance but Jolly won't allow it.
Jolly goes for a takedown in the clinch but Caldwell prevents it.
Jolly keeps control of Caldwell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jolly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caldwell breaks the clinch.
Jolly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Caldwell's waist but Caldwell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jolly off to one side. Caldwell looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jolly keeping moving, preventing Caldwell from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caldwell slips nicely into half guard. Caldwell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Caldwell keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Caldwell wants to work for an arm triangle but Jolly is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Caldwell stands up from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jolly with a lazy takedown attempt and Caldwell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Caldwell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jolly counters with a shoot takedown. Caldwell fights it but they end up in guard. Caldwell has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jolly should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Caldwell has tightened it up now! Jolly should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

An out of breath Jimmy Caldwell thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Justin Jolly was interviewed post fight and said 'I'LL SEE WHAT WENT WRONG AND TRY TO IMPROVE MAN . IM NEW TO THE GAME I'LL LEARN FROM THIS AND BE BACK '.
