Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stelling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: London Calling. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
36 - 36 - 2, fighting out of London, Carlos Strikes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 31 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack Stelling ! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strikes moves into range and clinches up with Stelling . Stelling looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Strikes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Stelling or not. Strikes lands a nice knee to the body. Strikes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Strikes drives through with a takedown into Stelling 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Strikes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Strikes lands a high kick!
Strikes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strikes takes the fight into the clinch. Strikes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strikes has closed the distance and engaged Stelling in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Strikes.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Strikes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strikes breaks from the clinch.
Strikes looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Stelling is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Strikes dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strikes slows the pace down. Stelling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strikes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strikes decides to stand back up. Strikes steps back and let's Stelling get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strikes feints and as Stelling raises his hands in defense, Strikes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stelling is rocked! Stelling is working an open guard so Strikes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Stelling is still on wobbly legs! Can Strikes finish him? Stelling has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Strikes looks for a takedown but Stelling sprawls well. As Strikes backs off Stelling throws a huge counter combo but Strikes manages to avoid it all. Strikes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stelling seems to have recovered his senses. Good leg kick by Strikes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stelling gets caught flat footed, as Strikes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stelling is wriggling around but Strikes manages to pass to half guard.
Strikes slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strikes seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Stelling is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
