Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Peevey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franciszek Kutasiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kutasiewicz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ATC - All Around The World (la la la la la la la la). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Peevey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Franciszek Kutasiewicz! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Kutasiewicz. Peevey is trying to get back to half guard. Peevey sneaks back into half guard. Kutasiewicz is trying to control. Peevey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kutasiewicz is looking to advance position but Peevey won't allow it. Kutasiewicz trying to control the action but Peevey is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peevey controlling the position for now. Peevey manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peevey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peevey trying to control the position here. Peevey doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Peevey has a closed guard, preventing Kutasiewicz from standing up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Peevey pulls Kutasiewicz in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kutasiewicz gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peevey is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Peevey is trying to control Kutasiewicz's posture but Kutasiewicz avoids it. Peevey stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Kutasiewicz tries to get to his feet but Peevey is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Kutasiewicz in his guard. Peevey is pulling down on Kutasiewicz's head. It's preventing any offense from Kutasiewicz, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peevey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kutasiewicz's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peevey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Peevey looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Peevey seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kutasiewicz for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Peevey wants to pass the guard but Kutasiewicz is keeping the position. Peevey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Peevey controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kutasiewicz is trying to control the position but Peevey postures up. Kutasiewicz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Peevey stays in close to Kutasiewicz's body and controls the position. Peevey postures up and lands a big shot to Kutasiewicz's brow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Peevey content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Peevey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Peevey slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that James Peevey will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Kutasiewicz thows a leg kick but Peevey checks it and Peevey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kutasiewicz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Peevey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Peevey connects with a couple of short punches. Peevey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peevey is working Kutasiewicz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peevey looking to pass the guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Kutasiewicz has momentary wrist control but Peevey slips an elbow through the middle. Kutasiewicz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peevey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Peevey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kutasiewicz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Peevey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Peevey works over Kutasiewicz with some ground and pound from guard. Peevey with a nice head shot there. Kutasiewicz has momentary wrist control but Peevey slips an elbow through the middle. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kutasiewicz can't keep his opponent in guard - Peevey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Peevey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kutasiewicz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Peevey in particular looking to stall. Peevey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Peevey scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kutasiewicz has hold of Peevey's hands but Peevey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kutasiewicz looking for submissions off his back. Kutasiewicz is breathing heavily. Ground and pound from Peevey. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Peevey lands a nice short elbow.

Kutasiewicz is rocked! Peevey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kutasiewicz is still in real trouble! Can Peevey finish him? Nice strikes from Peevey there. Peevey is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kutasiewicz seems to have recovered his senses. James Peevey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peevey landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Peevey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kutasiewicz's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peevey lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Peevey lands a couple of good shots and Kutasiewicz has given up his back, trying to escape the position! A bit of a pause in the action here. Peevey controlling the positon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peevey drives through with a takedown into guard. Peevey lands a couple of decent looking shots. Peevey stands up over Kutasiewicz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Peevey stands and throws Kutasiewicz's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kutasiewicz being controlled for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peevey has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peevey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kutasiewicz's face.
Peevey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kutasiewicz can do to turn this around? Peevey scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kutasiewicz?
