Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mousasi's choice of entrance music: KILL YOU. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randy Savage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gerard Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mousasi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Savage looks to score with a jab to the body but Mousasi is just out of range. Savage thows a body shot but no joy. Mousasi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Savage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Savage just misses with a punch to the body.
Mousasi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Savage. Savage pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Savage loads up on a big right hand but Mousasi slips the punch. Savage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mousasi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savage scores with a sloppy right hand. Mousasi should have avoided that one. Mousasi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Savage.

Savage tries to clinch but Mousasi moves out of range. Mousasi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Savage's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mousasi wants to control from the top but Savage keeps moving. Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mousasi on the ground. Mousasi thows a big elbow that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mousasi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Mousasi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Savage.

Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mousasi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Randy Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerard Mousasi. Mousasi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mousasi moves out of range of the strikes. Mousasi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Savage lands a nice looking body shot.
Mousasi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Savage throws the left hand but Mousasi avoids the punch easily. Randy Savage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Savage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mousasi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mousasi showed some decent athleticism there. Mousasi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mousasi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mousasi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Savage is just riding it out for now. Mousasi eventually gives up the hold. Mousasi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerard Mousasi dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mousasi slips under a jab. Savage misses the shot to the body. Mousasi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Savage's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Mousasi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mousasi landing shots from mount. Mousasi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Savage hang on? Mousasi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Savage can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Savage on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Savage tries to get out of the position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mousasi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mousasi throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Savage has his hands clasped together but Mousasi breaks the hold and Savage is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mousasi!
